What is your journey into healthcare, and what shaped the way you practice today?

What was the turning point in your life that led to advocate for health equity? Please be as detailed as possible.

How would you describe the health system to the listeners outside your country? Explain how people access care, how it’s paid for, and who makes the big decisions? (US Doctors, although we are in the same country, it brings tremendous value to have your description of our health system)

In your experience, what are the best parts of your health system for patients and for clinicians?

What are the biggest pain points or failure points, and who is most affected?

What do PATIENTS across different viewpoints in your country generally agree needs fixing?

For Example: Wait times, access to primary care and/or specialist, limited coverage, unreasonable taxes or fees

What do CLINICIANS across different viewpoints in your country generally agree needs fixing?

For Example: Student Debt, challenges with getting paid for the care they provide by either public or private insurance, administrative burdens, clinician to patient ratio, medical tourism

Does your country accept or encourage medical tourism? How are clinicians compensated for non residents?

What is the reality for the workforce (burnout, staffing, time with patients, admin burden), and how does that affect patient care?

If your country has a shortage of clinicians, what do you believe is the reason?

What’s one common misconception people have about your health system, and what’s the more accurate picture?

What does a perfect health system look like to you? Are there countries you admire for their efforts with health equity?

What should people stop doing that unintentionally worsens inequity?

If a listener has limited time and money, what is the highest-impact thing they can do locally?
