1) Consent to Audio and Video Recording
I, the Guest, voluntarily agree to participate in an interview for the Program. I understand and agree that my participation will be recorded in audio and video (including my voice, image, likeness, and appearance). I consent to being recorded in both formats.

2) Rights Granted, Global Use and Distribution
I grant the Producer and the Producer’s designees a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right and license to record, edit, transcribe, reproduce, distribute, publicly perform, publicly display, publish, broadcast, and otherwise use my interview, in whole or in part, in any media now known or later developed.

This includes use on global platforms, including but not limited to podcast directories and streaming services (such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and other similar services), the Program’s website, email newsletters, and social media platforms (including short clips, reels, posts, and promotional trailers), as well as written derivatives such as transcripts, articles, show notes, and promotional materials.

3) Editing, Excerpts, and No Approval
I understand the Producer may edit the recording for length, clarity, and production quality, and may use excerpts for promotion or other Program-related content. I understand I will not have the right to review or approve the final edited version before publication.

4) Name, Likeness, and Biographical Information
I grant permission to use my name (or approved display name), voice, likeness, image, and biographical information in connection with the Program and its promotion.

5) Ownership
I understand and agree that the Producer will own all rights in and to the final recordings and Program materials created by the Producer, including edits, mixes, compilations, and derivatives, subject to the rights granted in this Agreement.

6) No Payment or Future Compensation
I understand and agree there is no payment for my participation. I will not receive compensation, royalties, residuals, or any other payment now or in the future for recording, publishing, distributing, or using my interview or any excerpts.

7) Guest Responsibility and Third-Party Rights
I represent that:
I have the legal right and authority to enter into this Agreement.

My statements reflect my own experiences, views, and opinions.

I will not knowingly provide or request the use of any third-party materials (music, photos, videos, documents, or other copyrighted content) unless I have obtained all necessary permissions.

8) Public Nature, Privacy, and Sensitive Information
I understand the Program is intended for public distribution. If I share personal, medical, or sensitive information about myself or others, I do so voluntarily and understand it may be accessible globally, shared by others, and indexed publicly. I agree not to disclose confidential information that I do not have the right to share.

9) Release of Claims
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and discharge the Producer and the Producer’s employees, contractors, partners, licensees, successors, and assigns from any and all claims arising out of or related to the recording, editing, publication, distribution, or use of the interview as permitted by this Agreement, including claims for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, defamation, or misappropriation.

10) Indemnity
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Producer from third-party claims arising from (a) materials I provide, (b) my breach of this Agreement, or (c) my unlawful or infringing statements or conduct.

11) No Obligation to Publish
I understand the Producer is not obligated to publish my interview, even if it is recorded.

12) Governing Law and Other Terms
Governing Law: This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
Severability: If any portion is held unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect.
Entire Agreement: This is the entire agreement regarding my participation and supersedes prior discussions on this subject.
Electronic Signatures: Electronic signatures are permitted and will be treated as originals.
