How your answers are handled

Nothing you enter here is sent to Stephanie Wright. As you type, your answers are kept in this browser on this computer, so a refresh or a closed tab will not erase them.

To finish on another computer, click Email Me a Link to Finish Later. Your progress is then stored on stephaniewright.com only so your personal link works. That link is emailed to you, not to Stephanie. Unfinished progress is deleted automatically after 30 days.

You can print a blank copy or your answers at any time, and save them as a PDF from the print window.

How to Use This Checklist

Adding an associate is one of the biggest operational decisions an owner makes. Done at the right time, it expands access for patients and relieves pressure on the owner. Done too early, or without a plan for where the new doctor’s patients will come from, it strains cash flow, the team, and the relationship with the associate.

Work through the sections in order. Each one builds on the last.

SectionWhat it answers
1. Are We Ready? Is there real demand, space, team, cash, and leadership capacity for a second doctor?
2. Where Will the Patients Come From?Does the owner shift patients, does the associate build a base, or is it a blend?
3. Marketing the AssociateHow patients and the community learn the new doctor is here and worth seeing.
4. Reviewing CandidatesWhat to verify, what to ask, and what to look for.
5. Compensation and Contract ReviewThe terms to settle with your attorney and CPA before an offer.
